Initial 6-month Rolling Contract Role

Hybrid Working in Chester

£450- £550 per day, Inside IR35

ECS Resource group are currently working with a World's Leading Technology Organisation who are looking for a Network Engineer to support and enhance their EMEA network infrastructure, with a strong focus on web Proxy technologies.

Please note: candidates without Proxy experience can be considered for this role, but you need to be based within a commutable distance from Chester.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Assist in the configuration and management of Proxy systems, access policies, and routing rules
• Supporting the implementation and configuration of Access Policies, routing and management of Web Proxies
• Support incident response and planned changes in a complex, multi-layered network
• Collaborate with senior engineers and architecture teams to deliver stable, secure, and scalable services

Please note, the below requirements are essential and candidates without this will not be considered:

• 5+ years working as a Network Engineer
• Hands-on experience supporting or configuring Proxy Platforms eg McAfee, Sky high, Blue Coat etc.
• Knowledge of load balancing technologies such as a F5, VMWare Next Gen Load etc.
• Prior experience supporting network changes and troubleshooting connectivity issues
• Financial services experience (desirable)
