We're looking for a Network Assistant (Maintenance) to join our Transmission department preferably based in Dundee, reporting to local Maintenance Manager.

The role focuses on high level reporting, process development and cover for critical Support processes. Providing operational support to Pipelines, Pressure Control and E&I maintenance and project activities on our transmission and distribution assets. The successful candidate will also possess the ability to support the delivery of excellent operational and safety performance across Scotland Maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • High level MI reporting, ensuring key Transmission performance targets are met including MRI, PSPI and SHE
  • Departmental reporting on Productivity, Fatigue & Manpower
  • Asset Management & Management Information reporting for ISL third Party MERC Contract
  • Involvement with IT Projects on behalf of the department
  • Development of internal process documentation
  • Assistance with internal Finance Code Assurance Processes
  • Assistance with delivery of all specified scheduled routine and non-routine PSSR and maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with key legislation such as PSSR and the Pipeline Safety Regulations
  • Assist with support activities under the control of the Maintenance Manager
  • Providing high-quality analysis and insight to support decision-making across the wider business
  • Delivering an effective and responsive planning service to operational teams

  • An understanding of the Transmission system and Scotland Maintenance activities
