About the Role

We are currently seeking motivated and customer-focused Network & Server Support Technicians to join an onsite technical support team in Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a career in Data Centre Operations, Network Infrastructure, and Enterprise IT Support. You will work in a fast-paced environment supporting critical server and network hardware while gaining valuable hands-on experience with enterprise technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for network, server, and data centre hardware
• Perform hardware installations, replacements, break/fix activities, and cabling tasks
• Support server life cycle activities including rack and stack, IMACs, and decommissioning
• Assist remote engineering teams with troubleshooting and remediation activities
• Coordinate with hardware vendors for warranty and maintenance support
• Conduct hardware audits, inventory management, and asset tracking
• Maintain accurate documentation and update support tickets
• Follow all operational, security, and health & safety procedures

Technical Exposure Network Infrastructure

• Copper and Fibre Cabling
• Network Switches and Optics
• Wireless Access Points and Controllers
• Firewalls and Load Balancers (under engineering guidance)

Server & Storage Technologies

• HPE, Dell and Supermicro Servers
• Windows Server and Linux Environments
• Storage Platforms including NetApp, PowerMax and 3PAR
• iLO, iDRAC and IPMI Management Tools
• Hardware Diagnostics and Component Replacement

Essential Requirements:

• 1-2 years experience in an IT Support, Network Support, Infrastructure Support or Data Centre role
• Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and server hardware
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant IT qualification or certification

Desirable

• Network Administration experience
• Experience working within a Data Centre environment
• Knowledge of ServiceNow
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash or similar)
• Manual Handling Certification
