.NET Software Developer

Hybrid Role (2 days from our offices in Segensworth, 3 days from home)

Our small team of software developers works within our Business Insights & Analytics team, contributing to the development of both new and existing in-house projects.

You may currently be a few years into your .NET development career and seeking a role within a small, efficient team where you will be given autonomy and a real chance to contribute.

You'll get involved in:

• Providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and enhance Aerial Direct's existing systems.
• Updating, repairing, modifying, and developing existing software and applications
• Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency of business processes.
• Assisting in troubleshooting software application issues.
• Assisting the network administrator with application installation and testing.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and identifying modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements.
• Analyzing data contained in the corporate database and identifying data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems, then implementing solutions.
• Participating in weekly meetings with the IT team to discuss progress and issues, and reporting progress on a weekly basis to the Team Leader.
• Participating in IT project steering committees and being involved in the design phase of new IT software development projects.
• Assisting in the creation of system design and functional specifications for all new development projects.
• Conducting user-acceptance testing to ensure programs are user-friendly, efficient, and accurate.

Ideally, you'll have experience of:

• Full Stack Development with C#, .NET, ASP.Net
• Web API
• MVC
• Ideally, experience with .NET Core
