Job Description

We're looking for a compassionate and proactive Neighbourhood Outreach Officer to join our team. You'll be out and about in the community, building relationships with community groups and offering one-to-one advice and guidance to a diverse range of young people and families living in poverty.

You'll meet residents in community settings building trust, identifying needs, and connecting them with the right support. You'll play a vital role in helping individuals and families reduce financial pressure, stay warm, improve their financial and digital skills and enhance their overall wellbeing.

You'll be someone who genuinely cares about making a difference in people's lives. You'll have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with people from all walks of life.

Reports to: Head of Programmes

Type of Contract Fixed term full time contract (35 hours a week) until 31st March 2026: Funded by UKSPF (possibility of contract extension dependent on securing further funding)

Interview Date: Thursday 11th December at Leicestershire Cares offices
