NEC Contracts Manager

Our Blue Chip Utility Client is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager & managing tender process for NEC contracts. The role will be 50% onsite (Either Aberdeen, Perth or Glasgow) and will be managing multiple projects concurrently and running to NEC standards. The role will be via an Umbrella Company

Experience of working with Projects of significant value (from £20M to £50M)

Negotiating and drafting contracts

Managing the tender process for NEC contracts (all current contracts are NEC-based)

Overseeing post-contract activities, including forecasting payments, accruals, and managing compensation events

Managing multiple projects simultaneously (typically six or seven projects)

Experience of drafting and interpreting commercial contracts together with knowledge of Standard Form construction contracts and bespoke contract arrangements. Experience of working with NEC/FIDIC Contracts.
