We're looking for a commercially minded, relationship-focused National Partnerships Manager to join our National Partnerships team on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and grow strategic commercial partnerships that deliver real value to our members while generating sustainable income for Make UK.

You'll be responsible for managing and developing Make UK's portfolio of commercial partnerships, with a particular focus on our successful Member Benefits programme. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll ensure partnerships deliver excellent outcomes for members while supporting ambitious commercial objectives.

This is a varied role that combines account management, business development, project management and stakeholder engagement. You'll also play a key role in shaping and implementing new partnership opportunities that strengthen our offering and drive long term growth.

Responsibilities
  • Managing relationships with our Member Benefit Partners and other key commercial stakeholders.
  • Driving lead generation and referral activity to achieve partnership revenue targets.
  • Working collaboratively with membership, marketing and other teams to maximise member engagement with our partner offers.
  • Monitoring partnership performance and producing regular reports and insights.
  • Developing promotional campaigns and collateral with internal colleagues.
  • Planning and delivering partnership events and identifying new commercial opportunities.
  • Supporting tender processes to introduce new member benefit services.
  • Helping design and implement new partnership models, identifying and onboarding strategic partners to expand our commercial portfolio.
Requirements

What we're looking for

You'll be an organised and proactive partnerships professional who enjoys building lasting relationships and delivering commercial results.

  • Experience managing commercial partnerships, account management or business development.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • A proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness, including confidence interpreting budgets and financial performance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience identifying and developing new partnership opportunities.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a solutions focused approach.

Experience in a membership organisation or events management would be an advantage but isn't essential.
