National Account Manager (Co-op Snacks) - 12-month fixed term contract. Based from our Media City head office with hybrid working schedule. Location: Salford, GB. Workplace: Hybrid.
Role You'll join the Convenience team and be responsible for one of our busiest and best performing accounts, building strong relationships with a key convenience customer and delivering strategic plans aligned to short- and long-term growth.
Note: Mars completes the acquisition of Kellanova. The transaction is anticipated to close within the first half of 2025 (subject to approvals). The companies remain separate until closing.
Responsibilities- Commercial - Lead and grow the customer relationship through the creation and delivery of annual plans, building sustainable, long-term mutual value.
- Customer - Represent the voice of the customer internally, championing needs and translating insights into winning external solutions.
- Strategy - Shape and deliver the convenience snacking strategy, focusing on accelerating on-the-go snacking portfolio plans.
- Collaboration - Work cross-functionally with Revenue Growth Management, Category Management, Marketing and other internal teams to develop solutions and execute winning plans.
- Performance - Deliver quarterly and annual internal output targets, ensuring results meet budget commitments.
- Execution - Own and deliver annual internal input targets across key sales levers and fundamentals, including Category Vision, Assortment, Distribution, Price & Pack, Visibility, Promotions, Activation, Trade Strategy and Supply Chain.
- Excellent communication, presentation & influencing skills
- Strong relationship-building skills to work effectively cross-functionally
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships with multi-million-pound P&L spend
- Experience in a commercial, high-pressured role where you have driven and achieved results
