We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our International Corporate Accounts team here at Lyreco.
Being part of a team of sales people within our International team, the successful National Account Manager will work with an existing portfolio of accounts (worth between £250,000 and £1,000,000) and will be looking to develop new areas of spend through identifying sales opportunities across a range of categories ensuring year on year growth.
As a National Account Manager you will:
- Develop successful business partnerships with customers and maintain a value-added service to ensure successful trading relationships.
- Identify key areas for growth by providing the entire 'Workplace Solution' within accounts.
- To lead your local markets growth by developing local opportunities and new sales initiatives whilst working with the International Account Manager and within international contract guidelines.
- To understand contact life cycles and to support the International Account Manager in retaining existing business through international re-tendering processes.
- Visit accounts on a frequency agreed with the customer to create and deliver account development plans in line with internal processes.
As a National Account Manager, you will have:
- A complete understanding of the sales and business development process, with strong commercial acumen, with experience and a proven track record in sales and margin development at corporate level.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the aims and objectives of the business and is able to apply this to varied situations. Uses commercial judgment and is able to apply multiple factors when arriving at a decision/recommendation.
- Demonstrate excellent self-management skills, including time management, planning, prioritising and
- timely completion of work responsibilities and job assignments.
- There is a need to be mobile and to work in different locations as required. Overnight stays may be required.
- You are required to hold a full valid Driving Licence.
