Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 OTE / £100,000+ (Uncapped commission). Workdays: Monday - Friday. Benefits: Company car or car allowance, Tailored Benefits Package.
OverviewOur client is a leading bakery manufacturer dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and growth into various export markets, they are looking for a National Account Manager to join their sales team.
Role & Responsibilities- Increase wholesale customer portfolio, identifying opportunities, communicating with new and existing clients and building relationships.
- Formulate customer specific sales plans/strategies.
- Develop and execute strategic plans and pricing strategies.
- Understand customer KPIs, targets and review performance.
- Present to large wholesale customers, including product samples and organising regular meetings.
- Complete market reviews, design sales strategies.
- Liaise with the New Product Development and technical teams.
- Manage and direct all sales efforts as National Account Manager for assigned customers across the UK.
- Defend and expand existing own brand and white brand sales base.
- Participate in development, implementation and achievement of annual budgets.
- Analyse business trends to grow the business and manage the opportunity pipeline.
- Work closely with Supply Chain team to maximize sustainable sales.
- Previous account management and business development experience within FMCG, particularly bakery or frozen food.
- Experience dealing with retailers.
- Experience presenting & selling to large group buyers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
