About Our Client

A business who have already laid down the gauntlet as a 'go-to' supplier in the category. After onboarding number of new brands & licenses in both niche and more mainstream products, they are looking to further penetrate the market.

Job Description
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Identify and establish new business opportunities within the retail sector.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key retail partners - national and multi-site high street retailers e.g. Smyths, The Entertainer and also National Garden Centres/Buying Groups, Gift Stores, Book Stores, Craft Stores etc
  • Analyse market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms for the business.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and face-to-face buyer meetings
The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate should have:

  • A proven track record of winning new business/onboarding national and multi-site retail accounts
  • Sales/Account Management/Business development experience within FMCG - open on product category, but you will need relevant customer experience
  • Comfortable leading conversations with head office buyers
  • Proactive approach to sales and prospecting
  • Driven and tenacious
What's on Offer
  • Salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000 per annum.
  • Company car/allowance
  • Performance-based bonus/commission.
  • Remote working - with travel as required
