Lancashire Constabulary are looking to recruit numerous Chief Superintendents across both Detective and Uniformed portfolios. Applications are invited from substantive Superintendents for promotion to the rank of Chief Superintendent and substantive Chief Superintendents looking for a lateral move to Lancashire Constabulary.
We are looking for candidates who have substantial experience of leading teams to deliver an outstanding policing service to the public, along with high levels of operational credibility with the drive to lead the Constabulary's responses to policing challenges.
Working to support the Chief Officer Team, the successful candidate must be a dynamic and effective leader who can demonstrate ability to connect with officers, staff, and stakeholders and drive continuously to improve their areas of business. They will have a track record of supporting and developing others and be committed to creating an inclusive working environment that enables the Constabulary to deliver the highest standards of policing in which our communities have trust and confidence.
The successful candidate will be part of the 'gold' rota with the Chief Officer Team, they will be expected to undertake the role of Strategic Firearms Commander and Public Order Gold Commander.
