Senior Chartered Physiotherapist - Musculoskeletal Role

Cork City

Blackpool Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic is seeking an experienced Senior Chartered Physiotherapist to join our team in a busy private practice in Cork City.

For over 16 years, our clinic has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality physiotherapy care, and has developed excellent relationships with GPs, consultants, clubs and the local community, resulting in a consistent and diverse referral base. We pride ourselves on being a busy, friendly and warm place to work.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist who enjoys a varied, complex caseload and values working within a collaborative team environment with strong clinical support.

The Role

Our team includes six physiotherapists and 3 administration staff, working across individual treatment rooms, a dedicated reformer Pilates studio and access to a well equipped gym space.

The successful candidate will work with a varied and interesting caseload including:

  • Various Musculoskeletal issues
  • Post-operative rehabilitation
  • Rheumatology and spinal presentations
  • Orthopaedics and complex lower limb injuries, acute and chronic
  • Women's health (ante- and post-natal)
  • Occupational injuries
  • Sports injuries, from weekend warriors to the more competitive athletes

The role includes:

Room-based musculoskeletal physiotherapy consultations

Working alongside an experienced team with considerable clinical expertise

Excellent peer support and regular clinical discussion

Access to personal training gym with clients

Opportunities to teach classes, including Pilates, if interested

Excellent administrative support from our in-person reception team

Due to our strong referral network, the successful candidate can expect a consistently busy and varied caseload.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
  • CORU registered
  • Member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP), or eligible
