Job Description
Multi-Trade Operative - Drainage Engineer (Kingsmead Office - London)

Join our team of operatives in London to perform a mix of repairs on both void and tenanted properties. The role is primarily lone working with occasional collaboration with the wider team. A company van and tools are provided.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications.
  • Install new kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, windows, doors and fencing.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and restock when needed.
  • Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, resolving problems or initiating resolution and keeping customers informed.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on the progress of works in a format easily understood by the customer.
Skills & Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical) or NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, including Unvented G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS). Candidates must bring original certification - copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and working legislation.
  • Experience in carpentry, plumbing and decorating.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and plan ahead.
  • Full valid UK driving licence (required for company vehicle use).
Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual salary: £40,248 per annum, rising to £42,367 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance.
