We have an opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our team, covering different sites across the South West. As a Multi-Trade Operative you will be working in properties across Torquay, Paignton & Brixham. These works are predominantly in domestic properties and include carpentry, plumbing, installing doors/windows, plastering, tiling, fencing and general maintenance. Due to the nature of the role, a company van will be provided as well as power tools in order for you to complete jobs to a high standard.
The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:- Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocking these when needed
- Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
- Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
- To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical). If Plumbing Level 3 is required, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS) are needed. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation.
- Skills in some of the following disciplines - Plumbing, Carpentry and Joinery, kitchen and bathroom installations, UPVC door and window fitting.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines and plan ahead.
- Driving: in order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.

- £35,579 per annum (rising to £37,452 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
