Salary: £17.00 per hour (£35,360 per annum), depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am-4.30pm

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Araya Services are looking for committed Multi-Skilled Tradespeople to join its team. They receive their work directly from Insurance Companies, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who can start immediately and wants to build a long-term future with the company.

Araya Services provides property repair, restoration, maintenance and renovation services to Insurance Companies primarily but also carry out work for commercial and domestic customers, including estate agents, landlords and social housing providers.

The company has experience supporting policyholders following fire and flood damage and has built its reputation on quality workmanship, reliability, service and customer satisfaction.

The Role

You will complete a range of repairs, maintenance work and property improvements across residential properties. Projects may range from kitchen and bathroom installations to flooring and skirting replacement, ceiling and wall replacements, tiling, decoration and structural repairs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing general property repairs and maintenance
• Installing kitchens and bathrooms
• Undertaking work across several different trades
• Diagnosing problems and identifying practical solutions
• Completing every job safely, efficiently and professionally
• Treating customers and their properties with care and respect
• Managing materials, equipment and your daily workload
• Communicating effectively with customers and the office team

About You

Araya Services are looking for tradesman who take pride in their work, arrive on time and can be relied upon to complete each job properly and to the customers complete satisfaction. You must have the ability to problem solve, use your working day efficiently and have a can do attitude.

You will need:

• Experience in general property repairs and maintenance
• Skills and experience across multiple trades
• Experience installing kitchens and bathrooms (preferable)
• Your own tools to complete the required work
• A full UK driving licence
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• A professional manner
• The ability to work independently
• A flexible, positive and team-focused attitude
• A genuine commitment to a permanent position

Experience within the Insurance Claims property repair sector, social housing, property restoration or planned and reactive maintenance would be beneficial.
