Role: Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

Location: On site at Rolls-Royce Bristol

Hours: 40hrs Mon-Friday

This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team, supporting JLL on the Rolls Royce contract at Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Maintenance: Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, security systems, emergency lighting, and access control.
2. Testing and Inspection: Conduct regular testing and inspection of electrical systems to ensure compliance with standards and regulations, and document findings accurately.
3. Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve faults using diagnostic tools, and carry out repairs to ensure system functionality.
4. Preventive Maintenance: Execute planned maintenance to reduce downtime and extend system lifespan, maintaining detailed schedules and logs.
5. Compliance and Safety: Follow health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring adherence to regulations and reporting hazards promptly.
6. Collaboration: Work effectively with team members, contractors, and clients, providing guidance to junior staff as needed.
7. Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of all work, including logs, reports, work orders, and inventory updates.

Minimum Requirements:

• C&G Level 2 and 3 Diploma Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (Test & Inspection certification preferred)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Strong electrical and HVAC experience
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems
• Experience with building fabric repairs
• Understanding of health & safety obligations in maintenance activities
• Flexibility to work out of hours when required
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Full UK driving license
• Ability to work independently or within a team
