Van Delivery Driver - Crawley

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Van Delivery Drivers to join our well-established client based in Crawley.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, no weekend work and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a growing logistics business.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or Courier.

Rates of Pay:

• £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
• Performance-related bonus scheme
• Weekly PAYE pay
• Holiday pay accrued separately

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Typically 5-10 hours per day
• Weekly rota provided in advance
• No weekend work

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Van Delivery Driver are:

• Safely loading your vehicle ready for delivery
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Driving safely and efficiently across local delivery routes
• Delivering goods safely and on time
• Providing excellent customer service
• Handling returns and unloading when required
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Representing the company professionally at all times

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Van Delivery Driver, you will need:

• A valid UK Category B driving licence held for at least one year
• To be aged 21 or over for vehicle insurance purposes
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• No IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements
• Good physical fitness for loading and manual handling duties
• Excellent communication skills
• A reliable, punctual and professional approach
• A strong customer service attitude

Training:

• Fully paid site induction
• Three paid training shifts alongside an experienced driver
• Ongoing support from the team
• Full training on company procedures and delivery processes
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
