MTI Manufacturing Technology Architect

Freelance Contract

Start: ASAP

Location: Remote

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Architect & Workstream Lead to support a complex manufacturing divestiture programme. This is a critical role focused on enabling the successful separation of a manufacturing plant while ensuring operational continuity from Day One for the acquiring organisation.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience leading technology workstreams within manufacturing divestitures, carve-outs, or separation programmes.

  • Strong understanding of Manufacturing Technology Infrastructure (MTI) environments and manufacturing operations.

  • Deep knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including material flows and warehouse operations.

  • Expertise in SAP ECC and its role within manufacturing and supply chain environments.

  • Experience with warehouse management systems and logistics integrations.

  • Strong understanding of Operational Technology (OT), including:

    • PLC environments

    • MES platforms

    • SCADA systems

  • Familiarity with manufacturing automation technologies and shop-floor systems.

  • Experience supporting integrations with third-party logistics providers.

  • Understanding of co-manufacturing and co-packing operating models.

  • Ability to work across both operational and enterprise technology landscapes.
