Senior Social Worker - Children's Social Care

Are you an experienced Social Worker with a passion for working with children and families? We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Social Worker to join our Children's Social Care team on a contract basis. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of prospective foster carers
• Support and supervise foster families to ensure their needs are met
• Attend recruitment events to promote fostering services
• Engage in multi-agency work to safeguard children's welfare
• Occasionally work evenings or weekends as needed to facilitate assessments and recruitment activities
• Maintain comprehensive case documentation in line with organizational policies
• Contribute to team meetings and case reviews, providing expert advice as a Senior Social Worker

Candidate Skills & Experience

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant social care registration (Social Worker)
• Experience working with vulnerable children and foster care systems
• Strong assessment and report-writing skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
• Willingness to undertake flexible working hours, including some evenings and weekends
