Vehicle Technician

Surrey/Hampshire Borders

£60,000+ OTE with Manufacturer Trainingand Ongoing Training EV/Hybrid too!

We are recruiting for a manufacturer-backed automotive retailer seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its workshop team in the Surrey/Hampshire borders.

The role would suit an experienced technician from an independent garage or manufacturer/dealership environment. Level 2 qualified and time-served technicians are welcome to apply

Full training will be provided, including manufacturer, Hybrid and Electric Vehicle training.

Minimum Requirements
  • Level 2 Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent, or time-served experience
  • Experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
  • Experience gained within an independent garage or manufacturer/dealership environment
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Right to work in the UK
Desirable
  • Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification
  • Diagnostic experience
  • MOT Tester qualification
  • Hybrid, Electric Vehicle or High Voltage experience
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday8am to 5pm
  • Saturday: 8am to 2pm(1 in every 4)
The Role

AsVehicle Technician, you will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles, working to manufacturer and workshop standards.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
  • Completing mechanical repairs
  • Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults where required
  • Using workshop and diagnostic equipment
  • Completing vehicle health checks
  • Identifying additional repair requirements
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
  • Working with Service Advisors and Workshop Control
  • Following manufacturer and health and safety procedures
Training and Development
  • Training will be provided to support your development within the role
  • This includes manufacturer training and accreditation, Hybrid and Electric Vehicle training and High Voltage training
