Location: Rotherham
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £33,487 (unqualified) or £38,487 (qualified)

Our Client is seeking an experienced and passionate Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join their Automotive provision in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of automotive professionals by sharing your industry knowledge, practical experience, and enthusiasm for the sector. Working within well-equipped workshops, you will deliver engaging teaching and training across a range of Motor Vehicle programmes, helping learners develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required for successful careers in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality practical and theory-based lessons in Motor Vehicle subjects.
  • Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning resources.
  • Assess student progress through practical observations, assignments, and portfolio evidence.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support students to achieve their full potential.
  • Prepare learners for employment, apprenticeships, qualifications, and industry expectations.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, engagement, and academic progress.
  • Support students with individual learning needs and work collaboratively with support teams.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in open days, recruitment events, and employer engagement activities.
About You
  • A Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant Motor Vehicle discipline.
  • Significant industry experience within the automotive sector.
  • Passion for supporting and motivating learners.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging practical and classroom-based learning.
  • Teaching qualification and assessor award are desirable, although support may be available for suitable candidates.
