An experienced, CeMAP qualified Mortgage and Protection Advisor is required to join a successful estate agency business in the Woking area, providing expert mortgage advice and helping clients find suitable financial solutions when buying their next home.

What you'll be doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor

• Meeting clients to assess their mortgage requirements, financial circumstances and future plans
• Researching the mortgage market and recommending suitable products to meet individual client needs
• Advising on relevant protection products, including life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection
• Managing mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion, liaising with lenders, solicitors and estate agency colleagues
• Building strong relationships with buyers, vendors and internal teams to generate referrals and repeat business
• Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring all advice and recommendations meet regulatory and compliance requirements

What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience)

• CeMAP qualification or an equivalent recognised mortgage advice qualification
• Experience providing mortgage and protection advice in a customer-facing role
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, lenders and the application process
• Understanding of protection products and the ability to explain their benefits clearly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport
• A professional, organised approach with strong attention to detail
• Confidence working towards targets and developing new business opportunities
• A commitment to delivering compliant, customer-focused advice and maintaining high professional standards
