Are you a registered healthcare professional looking for a rewarding clinical role with a better work life balance? We are seeking a compassionate and detail oriented Functional / Disability Assessor to join our team. In this role, you won't be providing hands on treatment; instead, you will use your clinical expertise to conduct comprehensive medical assessments.
You will evaluate how long term health conditions or disabilities impact a person's daily life and mobility, translating your findings into clear, objective reports that help determine their eligibility for support and benefits.
This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your clinical knowledge in a structured, office or clinic based environment, offering regular daytime hours and a break from demanding shift work.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough face to face, telephone, or video consultations with individuals living with a variety of physical and mental health conditions.
- Analyse medical evidence and use your clinical judgment to assess functional capacity.
- Write comprehensive, objective, and evidence based reports to a high professional standard.
- Maintain empathy, professionalism, and strict confidentiality throughout every assessment.
- Earn up to £45000 (PIP) £48000 (WCA) plus added bonuses over the year.
- Set working hours for that work life balance (Mon Fri 9 5).

- Current registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., NMC, HCPC) as a Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or a GPHC Pharmacist. (Needs to be adult experience due to working with 16-65 year olds)
- A minimum of 1 year of post qualification clinical experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to put anxious individuals at ease.
- Strong analytical, IT, and report writing skills.
- Need to have the right to work in the UK, as we don't accept sponsorships.
