The Role

What will you be doing as a Modelling & Simulation Systems Engineer?

  • External flow aerodynamics modelling
  • Trajectory modelling and analysis
  • Aerothermodynamics modelling
  • Model optimisation and calibration
  • Ground trials analysis
  • Technical reporting and presentation of results to internal and customer stakeholders
Qualifications

What are we looking for in our next Modelling & Simulation Systems Engineer?

  • Experience in numerical modelling and computational methods
  • Basic understanding of statistical methods
  • Degree-level education (or equivalent experiential learning) with exposure to aeronautical or aerospace engineering
  • Experience in high-speed aerodynamic analysis (hypersonics experience desirable)
  • Demonstrable application of modelling and simulation skills
  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Strong technical report writing skills
  • Confident presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
  • Self-motivated with the ability to deliver programme milestones
  • Comfortable engaging with customers and senior stakeholders
  • Experience working in a classified environment (preferred)
  • Willingness to pursue DV clearance (preferred)
