JOB TITLE: Mobile Lab Product Owner

SALARY: £124,653 - £146,650 in London or £104,992 - £123,520 outside of London

LOCATION(S): London or Bristol

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our locations.

About this Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Digital Frameworks Platform. This critical role is the driving force behind the frameworks and services that empower our development across the Group - from large-scale flagship retail and business banking applications to specialised offerings for Scottish Widows and the Channel Islands - to build exceptional, secure, and performant mobile experiences.

As the Mobile Lab PO, you will own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for our core mobile enablement assets, including our Test Automation Frameworks, Core Build Frameworks (CI/CD pipelines), Reusable UI Modules, and the integrated Mobile Security product suite. Your success directly translates to accelerating delivery velocity, enhancing quality, and strengthening security posture for hundreds of developers building customer-facing mobile applications that serve millions of users.

What you'll need

  • Experience in creating and galvanizing a team around a commonvisionwhich will be the essence of your products: what are the problems we are solving, for whom, and why now is the right time to address these. Ability to build and maintain networks with a diverse group of leaders and colleagues toinfluence and deliver the product roadmap and to build a team of teams' environmentacross the bank. This requires prior experience working closely with leaders and executives to shape product and capabilities to be exploited to reach desired outcomes.

  • Prior experience in working with technology product propositions, P&L (profit&loss), benefit cases and pricing, preferably in a B2B context, with an enterprise/as a service software product proposition.

  • Ability to be the enabler of a thoughtful prioritisation and experience inevaluating the relative importance of work, ideas and requeststo eliminate wasteful practices and deliver customer value in the quickest possible way, given a variety of constraints.

  • Strong and demonstrable experience of people management across different level of seniority, including domain experts and more generalist contributors.
