Job Description

Job: Commercial Mobile Gas Maintenance Engineer

Location: Yorkshire and Midlands

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Work Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with on-call rotation 1 in 5.

Are you a skilled Gas Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity? Randstad CPE are seeking experienced Gas Engineers to carry out a highly important role that involves conducting planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine gas servicing and maintenance checks according to industry standards.
  • Respond promptly to heating/plumbing breakdowns, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Recognised relevant trade apprenticeship.
  • Experience in installing and servicing A/C, HVAC & Chilled Water Systems, and associated plant.
  • Desirable qualifications such as City & Guilds 2079 F Gas & ODS Regulations and Water Management experience of L8.
  • Gas Safety Qualifications, with the capability of being registered with Gas Safe.
  • Experience in AHU/Gas Heating Plant Control systems and commercial/industrial gas installations.
  • Health & Safety Certification.
  • Full current driving license and willingness to travel.
  • Self-motivation, customer-focused attitude, initiative, and decision-making confidence.
