I am currently representing an excellent HVAC & Mechanical specialist who is seeking a mobile commercial gas engineer to join their growing team within the Lancashire region due to expansion. Established over 45 years ago, they work on prestigious MOD & MOJ contracts across the Northwest. The successful candidate will join an established team carrying out reactive and breakdown works on commercial gas appliances and HVAC systems across their MOJ Contract in Lancashire & the North West.
The company operates throughout the Northwest, and the ideal candidate should possess up-to-date commercial and domestic gas qualifications. Additional skills such as FGAS or electrical qualifications are a bonus.
The Job- Monday - Friday, 40-hour weeks
- 8 hours between 08:00 - 16:30, with some sites allowing earlier access for earlier finishes
- Working on MOD & MOJ Contracts
- Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer based in Greater Manchester
- Coverage includes Manchester, Liverpool, Lancashire, with occasional work in the Lake District, Stoke-on-Trent & South Wales
- Performing Service, Maintenance & Breakdown on Commercial Boilers, plant, and HVAC systems. The company offers support for additional training for extra commercial tickets.
- Candidate must have a clean DBS & Enhanced checks, and be comfortable working within a prison setting.
- £40,000 - £45,000, paid weekly
- Annual bonuses
- Company vehicle & fuel card (for private use)
- Phone, tablet, PPE, uniform, tools, etc.
- Company pension scheme (3% contribution from client)

- Enhanced sick pay
- Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way; travel within half an hour to site is paid
- Overtime at enhanced rates and day in lieu for bank holidays
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Call-out rota approximately once every 6 weeks
