Barnardo's is working with Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System (ICS) to implement a new service to reduce inequalities within Maternity Services.
Maternity, Neonatal Voices Partnerships (MNVP) will need to include and listen well to women, birthing people and families from those backgrounds which tend to experience poorer outcomes, including black, Asian and ethnic minority women and women from deprived areas.
Main duties of the jobAs the MNVP lead a key area of focus will be to consider how we can best reach groups who are marginalised and how we can co produce with these communities in a way which is meaningful and authentic to them.

Job responsibilities- Leadinga team of staff and sessional workers in developing and maintaining effectivepractice and delivery of services to children, young people and families
- Completing all management procedures and routines for each member of the teamin line with Barnardos People Policies in order to maintain individual andteam capability and motivation
- To plan and delegate theallocation of workload and resources within area of responsibility ensuringoversight of all case work and activities is maintained at all times
- Oversight and control of Service User Recording in the team to ensure it isundertaken in accordance with Barnardos policies and procedures and to the satisfaction of Commissioners and all relevant external authorities
- To support CSM in theprovision of performance management data and reporting to internal and externalstakeholders as required.
- Tosupport CSM in representing Barnardos with stakeholders and commissioners, asrequired, in order to influence local practice and provision of support tochildren, young people and families.
- Tomaintain active engagement on all Safeguarding matters so that issues are dealtwith in the interests of the child, in a compliant and professional manner,with appropriate escalation to, and involvement of, senior management andexternal agencies in line with Barnardos Safeguarding Policy.
- To maintain and developstaff competence in their activities by keeping them up to date with relevantdevelopments in social care, education, health and other relevant legislation,and all relevant internal policies and procedures
- Understanding of the relationships between the Department of
- Health, NHS England, Regional Maternity Team, Individual Providers and Commissioning Organisations in relation to the delivery of Perinatal Services
- Ability to manage conversations at a system level
