ML Engineer - Amsterdam - 12 months contract

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a skilled ML Engineer/Cloud Engineer/Software Engineer with machine learning experience for a business-critical cloud migration and ML engineering project with one of our clients in beautiful Amsterdam.
Requirements for the Role:
- Proven experience in MLOps, including end-to-end deployment, monitoring, logging, and CI/CD for ML pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, MLFlow, Airflow, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience developing and managing microservices, serverless architectures, and API integrations.
- Solid understanding of the data science life cycle: data cleaning, model training, and evaluation.
- Familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Reinforcement Learning, and Recommendation Systems.
- Ability to write and review Terraform code and support data scientists in engineering tasks.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating across technical and strategic domains.
- Assertive, communicative, and proactive personality with a strong ownership mentality.
Details for the Role:
- Start Date: ASAP or upon availability
- Duration: 12 months
- Rate: Depending on experience
- Contract Type: Freelance (ZZP allowed)
- Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Hybrid - 2 days on-site per week)
- Hours per week: 36-40
