- Accommodation Support The Company: We are seeking a practical and motivated Mixed Farm Worker to join an exciting new agricultural enterprise combining stone fruit production and regenerative sheep farming.
This is a hands-on role supporting the establishment and development of a new cherry orchard alongside the management of a growing meat sheep flock.
The successful candidate will have a strong practical background, ideally with experience in tractor operations, horticulture, orchards or livestock farming.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills across both modern fruit production systems and sustainable livestock management within a forward-thinking farm.
The Job:Operate tractors and specialist machinery safely and efficiently.
Support orchard establishment, including planting, pruning, thinning and harvesting.
Assist with irrigation, fertigation, crop monitoring and plant health programmes.
Work with modern orchard systems including polytunnels and rain covers.
Carry out routine machinery maintenance and basic repairs.
Support integrated pest management and crop quality monitoring.
- Assist with the establishment and management of a regenerative sheep flock.
Develop skills in sheep husbandry, grazing management and livestock care.
Support seasonal labour teams and contractors during busy periods.
The Candidate:Practical, hardworking and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
Experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery.
Background in horticulture, orchards, livestock or mixed farming preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
Willingness to learn and develop across both crop and livestock enterprises.
Reliable team player with a proactive approach.
The Package:Competitive salary of £28,000 - £34,000 depending on experience.

Candidate RequirementsAll applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for.
