Digital Product Designer

Permanent | Hybrid | Soho, London

We're hiring a Digital Product Designer to join a Digital Experience Studio (agency) in Soho, London. This is a freelance-to-permanent role within a multidisciplinary design team working across digital products, apps and responsive web experiences.

This is a hands-on design role suited to someone with solid experience in UI design and UX fundamentals, ideally from an agency or studio environment. You'll be working closely with senior designers, UX, engineering and delivery teams on live client projects.

Role Overview

  • Start: ASAP

  • Contract: Freelance at £400 a day to Permanent of £50k

  • Location: Soho, London

  • Hybrid: 3 days in-office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - contractual)

  • Work pattern: Full-time at 5 days per week

  • Level: Mid-level


The Role

  • This is for someone with a bold, minimal, start-up vibe style led UI.
  • Design digital products and experiences across apps and responsive web

  • Work in Figma to produce high-quality, production-ready designs

  • Collaborate closely with UX, engineering and delivery teams

  • Contribute to and work within existing design systems

  • Create digital assets to specification (layouts, grids, formats)

  • Apply brand thinking beyond static guidelines

  • Design with accessibility and inclusion in mind


What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Digital Product Designer/UI Designer/UX Designer

  • Good working knowledge of Figma and prototyping tools


Tools

Core: Figma, prototyping tools, Miro, Google Workspace, Photoshop
Bonus: Motion design (After Effects or equivalent), basic 3D, exposure to AI, voice, chatbots or AR
