Mid Front-End WordPress Developer (Initial 3-Month Contract - Potential to Go Permanent)

About the Role:We're looking for a talented Mid Front-End WordPress Developer to join our team on an initial 3-month contract. This role has a strong view to becoming permanent for the right candidate. You'll work closely with our design and development teams to deliver responsive, user-friendly, and scalable WordPress websites.
What You'll Be Doing:- Developing and maintaining WordPress websites with a strong focus on front-end performance and best practices.
- Translating design mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive front-end code.
- Customising themes and templates to meet project requirements.
- Optimising sites for speed, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborating with designers, back-end developers, and project managers.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and improving existing codebases.
- 2-4 years' experience working as a front-end developer, with solid WordPress knowledge.
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with modern front-end workflows.
- Ability to customise WordPress themes and work with page builders when needed.
- Understanding of responsive and cross-browser / mobile compatible design.
- Competitive contract rate £35-40k per annum (pro rata / negotiable)
- Initial 3-month contract, with the genuine potential to transition into a permanent role.
