Microsoft Product & Licensing Specialist About the Job

THE ROLE

We are an Indirect CSP Provider (via ALSO) with a client base across Public Sector, Commercial, and Enterprise. Our Product and Licensing Team are experts in NCE and Azure CSP and have a strong track record of acquiring and retaining clients. We support more than $20m a year in CSP revenue.

This role will require you to:

  • Demonstrate a proven record of winning and retaining customers, with a passion for acquiring new clients and driving savings through our Licensing Consultancy and FinOps services, supported by our investment in portals and platforms.
  • Be a trusted advisor, helping customers maximize their investment in Microsoft Licensing, understand and leverage funded engagements, stay updated on promotions, investment programs (such as Azure Migrate), and licensing models and approaches.
  • Work dynamically in a hybrid environment-spending time with the sales team at the London Sales Office, remotely and in-person with customers, and collaborating with the Microsoft Partner team as needed. You will educate sellers, support marketing efforts, and drive new business opportunities within our existing and new customer base.
  • Innovate alongside Sales Teams, Client Success Managers, and Technical Pre-sales teams to identify, qualify, and share opportunities to grow license sales and CSP revenue.
  • Leverage Microsoft Sellers to help generate inbound co-sell leads.

Ideally, you will also have or seek to gain experience in managing a team of Specialists.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Proven record of consulting and selling NCE and CSP business with high win rates.
  • Strong cost modeling, proposal writing, and client presentation skills.
  • Success in acquiring new clients, growing accounts, and retaining clients.
  • Consistently meet personal product and licensing targets (quarterly).

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Commercial and sales experience.
  • 5+ years of experience selling CSP / NCE, ideally from a Direct or Indirect Reseller background.
  • A passion for sales and winning-driving value savings for clients by positioning Cisilion as their cloud partner.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex commercial calculations at all levels.
