Microsoft PowerApps Developer (6-Month Contract, Hybrid Manchester)

Role Summary

We're looking for a skilled PowerApps/Power Platform Developer to join a public sector project. You'll help build and maintain low-code/no-code apps, automate business processes, visualise data, ensure secure and compliant solutions - and you'll mentor junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PowerApps, Model Driven & Canvas Apps aligned to user/service needs

• Build & optimise Power Automate flows to support business process automation

• Integrate and manipulate data using JSON and HTML

• Use Dataverse for secure, scalable data storage & relational modelling

• Configure and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD workflows

• Ensure all deliverables meet public sector standards for accessibility, security, and compliance

• Mentor and support junior developers; share knowledge, code reviews, guidance, best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience building PowerApps (Canvas/possibly Model-driven)

• Proven usage of Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse

• Hands-on experience integrating data via JSON/HTML

• Practical experience with Azure DevOps pipelines/CI/CD in Power Platform contexts

• Good understanding of public sector constraints (security, compliance, accessibility)

• Demonstrable mentoring or coaching of more junior staff

• BPSS clearance (essential)

Desirable

• Prior public sector experience

• Microsoft Power Platform certification(s)
