Microsoft Copilot Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Scale Copilot and Teams Customer Engagements: Reach out proactively and independently to customers, utilizing knowledge of customer context and expertise in Copilot for Microsoft 365, Teams Calling, Meetings, Teams Premium, devices, Frontline Worker enablement, and Viva solutions. Lead technical discussions and establish engagement rules with customers, partners, and CSU, leveraging processes, tools, and programs like MSP, MCP, FastTrack, and ECIFs.
2. Build Strategy for Copilot and Teams: Provide strategic and technical input based on Microsoft capabilities, considering partners, open-source solutions, and competitors. Use customer feedback and market insights to inform engineering and develop competitive strategies.
3. Solution Design and Proof: Demonstrate solutions through Architectural Design Sessions and Proof of Concept, applying architecture patterns for design, deployment, and governance. Utilize sales methodologies and collaborate with partners and customer teams.
4. Education: Identify learning gaps, engage with internal tech communities, and communicate with customers and partners to expand knowledge and demonstrate new products and services.
5. Leverage Partner Ecosystem: Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams, facilitating resources, identifying skill gaps, and providing feedback to improve offerings.

Qualifications

1. Required: Experience in technical pre-sales or consulting; Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Preferred: Experience with cloud/hybrid infrastructures, architecture design, migrations, industry standards, and technology management. Certifications such as Office 365, Power BI, Azure, Cloud Platform, Security, or Architecture are advantageous.
