About the RoleAs an M365 Trainer, you will play a key part in delivering the Council's Microsoft 365 (M365) Awareness & Training Programme. You will deliver a mix of face to face and virtual training, run drop in support sessions, maintain learning materials, and provide practical guidance to staff as they develop their digital capability. You will also work with our network of M365 Champions to help identify learning needs and promote opportunities to improve collaboration and productivity.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist skills in digital learning, change support, and Microsoft 365 adoption. You will receive mentoring, support and direction from senior colleagues and will be encouraged to grow your capability throughout the programme.
Your training scope will include everyday use of Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and selected apps such as Planner, Forms, Lists and Stream, with Copilot awareness delivered in line with organisational guidance.
About YouYou will be someone who enjoys helping others learn and has a passion for improving digital confidence across the organisation. You will bring strong communication skills, patience, and a supportive approach to helping staff adopt new ways of working. You will be confident delivering training, responding to common queries, and working with champions and key users to embed learning.
