Microbiology Lab Scientist - Diagnostics & Surveillance

SRUC Veterinary Analytical Laboratory in Roslin, Midlothian, seeks a Laboratory Scientist to join the Microbiology team. You will identify bacteria using MALDI-TOF MS, perform biochemical tests, and report results in the LIMS, supporting diagnostic services for animals and public health.

The role includes maintaining UKAS accreditation, contributing to disease surveillance, and weekend on-call on a rota, with hybrid working options and commitment to health & safety.
