About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join a thriving and supportive secondary school in Bracknell from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring teacher to contribute to a growing and ambitious department, delivering high-quality language learning to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5).
The successful candidate will be passionate about languages, able to teach at least one language to a high standard (French and/or Spanish preferred), and committed to achieving excellent outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons
- Inspire students to develop a love for languages and other cultures
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development within the MFL department
- Support the wider life of the school through enrichment and extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Have experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages
- Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
