We are seeking a highly execution-focused Metals Operations Project Manager to lead and deliver the end-to-end implementation of operational capabilities across physical precious and base metals markets.

This role is accountable for translating target operating model design into a fully operational, production-ready setup - ensuring logistics, controls, compliance, and market delivery requirements are implemented on time and Embedded into BAU.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on delivery experience within physical metals markets, strong LBMA operational expertise, and a proven ability to drive cross-functional execution through to go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the full implementation of operational processes supporting physical precious and base metals trading.

• Execute end-to-end logistics setup, including freight, transportation, insurance, settlement flows, and physical delivery workflows.

• Implement and operationalise vaulting and delivery processes, ensuring full compliance with LBMA standards and settlement requirements.

• Design, implement, and embed inventory control frameworks, including reconciliations, monitoring, due diligence, and governance controls.

• Drive cross-functional execution, coordinating Front Office, operations, risk, compliance, finance, and third-party providers to meet defined milestones.

• Manage implementation risks, proactively resolving blockers and ensuring operational readiness for go-live.

• Lead operational readiness and BAU transition, ensuring processes are stable, controlled, and scalable post-implementation.

Required Experience

• Demonstrable track record delivering operational implementations within physical commodities markets.

• Deep hands-on knowledge of physical precious and base metals operations.

• Strong practical experience with LBMA vaulting, delivery, and settlement mechanics.

• Working knowledge of LME and COMEX operational models.

• Proven experience implementing inventory controls, reconciliation frameworks, and governance structures.

• Experience managing physical gas positions.

• Broader commodities logistics exposure is advantageous.
