MES Senior system engineer

Our client is looking for an English speaking (Spanish is a bonus) MES Senior systems engineer for a 100% remote for contract role for a long term stable project with no end date, we are looking for consultants to start ASAP.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience supporting MES or other manufacturing IT systems in regulated environments.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or Life Sciences industry.
• Solid understanding of GxP environments.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux administration.
• Strong experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Ability to execute SQL queries for troubleshooting and data validation.
• Proven experience in log analysis, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
• Experience monitoring, restarting, resetting, and validating scheduled jobs, batch processes, and system services.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Advanced English level.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Körber PAS-X.
• Knowledge of MBR design and life cycle management.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Experience in OT environments and CI/CD practices.

This updated version clearly positions the role as a MES Application Support Engineer/MES System Administrator, where technical troubleshooting, database expertise, log analysis, and job management are mandatory, while technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes are considered desirable only.
