Merchandiser

Are you looking for a part time role to boost your income? CPM is looking for team members who can join us to place POS (point of sale) and in store media in Asda. If you can work every Thursday (average 2 hours per week) and have experience merchandising/placing POS, we want to hear from you. £14.70 per hour (including holiday pay)

What will I be doing?

You will place POS in designated parts of the store to support several brands. It is essential to achieve coverage of all POS placements, which you will photograph and report through an online app when completed.

Typical tasks

• Sign into the store and introduce yourself to the key store contacts.
• Liaise with the store colleagues to locate the POS previously delivered to the store.
• Place bollard covers, promotional barkers, large gondola end cardboard display units, and other POS (as required) in pre arranged sections of the store. Use a stepladder to place media at height.

Key requirements for this role

• You can get to the agreed store(s) every Thursday to complete your visit.
• Calls to be completed between 6 am and 4 pm on a Thursday (hours will vary week on week but you will know in advance what hours are needed).
• You own a smartphone (Android or Apple) to report your visits in store.
• Happy to place POS at height using a stepladder.
• You are competent and confident using an app based system.
• You are willing to work in-store, spending several hours navigating the store and potentially moving heavier boxes of POS or stock as required.
• You have great communication and relationship building skills.
• Experience working with POS is essential.
