Band 7 Mental Health Nurse (Remote)
Location: Fully Remote
Contract: Temporary Contract to 31st March 2027
Rate: Competitive NHS Band 7 Rates

We are seeking experienced Band 7 Mental Health Nurses to join a specialist remote service supporting children, young people and families across Norfolk and Waveney.
Working as part of a well-established integrated advice and support service, you will play a vital role in helping reduce waiting list backlogs while providing timely mental health support, advice and guidance to those who need it most.
The Role
As a Band 7 Mental Health Nurse, you will:
- Triage referrals and assess mental health needs
- Provide clinical advice, guidance and support to children, young people and their families
- Undertake risk assessments and make appropriate recommendations
- Signpost to relevant services and interventions
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Support service users through telephone and digital consultations
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration
- Significant post-registration mental health experience
- Previous experience working with children and young people (CAMHS) desirable
- Experience in triage, assessment and risk management
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- NHS experience preferred
