About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mendix Consultant to join our expanding team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will help clients transform their business processes through the power of low-code development. You will work across the full project lifecycle-from requirement gathering and solution design to development and deployment-delivering high-impact applications on the Mendix platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, user-friendly Mendix applications
• Lead or support the design, development, and implementation of Mendix solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and enterprise architecture standards
• Configure and extend Mendix applications with custom logic, integrations, and third-party services as needed
• Participate in workshops, demos, and stakeholder reviews to ensure alignment and transparency
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and internal teams on low-code best practices and Mendix platform capabilities
• Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live optimization of applications
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation within the Mendix delivery team

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Mendix development experience
• Solid understanding of software development principles, application architecture, and agile methodologies
• Experience with REST APIs, integrations, and working in complex enterprise environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders
• Mendix Rapid Developer or Intermediate Developer certification required; Advanced certification is a plus
• Proficiency in English is required; Dutch language skills are highly desirable
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
