Job Description
Consultant .NET/Full-stack bij Spilberg (Part of Vibe Group)

About

Our focus is on high-tech greenhouse solutions. Combining hardware, software, and data to create controlled environments where crops can thrive. From advanced irrigation and climate control to robotics and smart sensors, we build the digital backbone for the next generation of autonomous growing systems.

Operating from the Netherlands with international sales offices across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, our solutions reach both local growers and global partners in the agri tech ecosystem.

Your Role

As a Software Engineer in the Process Control & API team, you'll help design, build, and operate the APIs that form the digital data bridge between greenhouse systems, partners, and cloud platforms.

You'll maintain existing services while developing new, scalable functionality that connects real world hardware with cloud based data environments. Your work directly supports remote monitoring, automation, and the drive toward fully autonomous growing systems.

You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across development, product management, and field service. Because our software interacts directly with hardware controllers, you'll occasionally debug on real devices, making it clear how your code impacts real crops and real customers.

What You'll Bring

  • Solid experience as a senior level software engineer, both technically and analytically
  • Strong background in C#, ASP.NET, Azure APIs, Azure Functions, and Docker
  • Familiarity with Angular or React (migration experience is a plus)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and software architecture principles
  • Excellent English communication skills; Dutch is a plus
  • Proactive mindset, strong problem solving abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement

What We Offer

  • A full time position where your work makes a real impact on sustainable food production
  • Competitive salary with performance based bonus and profit sharing
  • 29 vacation days and flexible working arrangements
  • Opportunities for professional growth through training and development
  • A supportive, informal, and collaborative team culture
  • Plenty of room for personal initiative - your ideas help shape the future of our products
