We have the most advanced diagnostic imaging equipment available today, full cardiovascular facilities including a Cardiac Catheterisation Suite and Clinical Laboratory services.

Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet patients and their families arriving in the consultant suite, providing an excellent customer service to patients.
  • Provide an efficient, friendly and professional service to the designated area.
  • Devise and implement methods of ensuring the efficiency and quality of the administrative support to the consultant.
  • Organise and schedule the consultant's diaries.
  • Carry out all typing duties proficiently with particular attention to accuracy, presentation and speed.
  • Conduct all telephone communication in a professional and discreet manner.
  • Ensure all patient records are accurately maintained.
  • Update and maintain relevant hospital information systems (including Meditech, RIS/PACS, as relevant).
  • Book and arrange appointments accurately for the consultant.
  • Ensure necessary forms and paperwork are completed in relation to private health insurers.
  • Take payments from patients.
  • Daily banking/reconciliation and ensure all invoices are raised daily for services provided.
Requirements
  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
  • Two years administration experience in a busy administrative role.
  • Experience with audio dictation.
  • Medical terminology.
  • Previous hospital experience.
  • Experience working with a patient information system.
