Job Description

We have a vacancy for a friendly well-organisedperson with excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner to joinour team, full time or part time up to 37 hours per week , Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00 am- 6.30 pm, (hours are to be confirmed)

Full training will be given butprevious experience of working in a GP practice will be highly desirable.

Main duties of the job

We are a busy practice and you will need to be caring, calm under pressure and have a flexible, enthusiastic, hard-working attitude. The practice needs a team player, but one who is also confident to work under one's own initiative, and enjoys working a fast paced, but friendly, enjoyable working environment.

Main duties of the job

Duties will include a range of administrative and reception tasks in relation to dealing with patients at the surgery. This includes dealing with patients at the reception desk and by telephone . Candidates must be computer literate and possess a pleasant telephone manner.

We are looking for a medical receptionist to work with uscommencing July 2026.

Job responsibilities

Job Summary:

Receive,assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcareprofessional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.

Providegeneral assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendlyimage to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.

  • To have a thorough knowledge of allpractice procedures
