Job Description
Medical Negligence Solicitor - Hull - Up to £70,000 - REF941609RR

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly regarded and expanding Clinical Negligence department within a Legal 500 firm. The team is known for delivering excellent outcomes for clients and handling technically complex, high-value cases from inception through to settlement or trial. You'll be joining a group of dedicated specialists who are passionate about clinical negligence work and client care, within a supportive environment that offers strong progression and development.

The Role:
  • Manage your own caseload of Clinical Negligence files from inception to resolution
  • Investigate and litigate complex multi-track claims
  • Work on high-value cases including birth injury, brain injury and spinal injury matters (where applicable)
  • Progress cases efficiently through to settlement or trial
  • Meet KPIs and manage case deadlines effectively
  • Draft key legal documentation and correspondence
  • Deliver high levels of client care throughout
  • Support senior colleagues where required
  • This is a strong opportunity to develop your expertise within a leading specialist team
About You:
  • Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (NQ-8 PQE)
  • Experience handling Clinical Negligence caseloads
  • Strong litigation and multi-track experience
  • Experience working on high-value claims desirable
  • Supervision experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management ability
  • Confident working independently and within a team
  • Strong client care and communication skills
