We are currently working with a popular secondary school in the borough of Ealing who are seeking a passionate Media/ English Teacher to join their team in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with secondary school experience looking to make a positive impact in a secondary setting.

The Role

The school is seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic, and dedicated Media/ English Teacher with a passion for the subject and the ability to engage and inspire students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring that all students make excellent progress and develop a love for Media and English.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Assessing, tracking, and recording pupil progress to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.
  • Creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
  • Preparing students for GCSE examinations and supporting them in achieving their academic potential.
  • Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives within English and Media.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to promote positive attitudes to learning and achievement.
