Mechanical Site Supervisor - Southwest

Advance TRS are supporting a leading contractor in the Southwest Water region. They are looking for a confident, hands on Mechanical Site Supervisor (Mechanical AP) to take charge on site.

The Role

Reporting to the M&E Manager / Lead Site Supervisor, you'll drive and control all mechanical site activities - delivering to spec, on time, and with zero compromise on health & safety or quality.

You'll be at the heart of operations, ensuring:

• Safe working environments for all staff, subcontractors & visitors
• HS&E documentation is current, compliant & fully reviewed
• Method Statements & Work Instructions are robust and followed
• Mechanical works are delivered to specification and programme
• ITPs are completed progressively
• Accurate progress recording & as built updates
• Non conformances are identified, recorded and resolved efficiently

Experience

You're an experienced water sector professional who knows mechanical installations inside out:

• Strong background in pipework fabrication, welding & erection
• Able to assess weld quality with confidence
• Experienced in punching & snagging pipelines to Isometric, GA & P&ID drawings
• Comfortable reviewing technical documentation and driving standards on site

Qualifications

• HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering or apprenticeship in pipework & welding + experience
• SSSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
